Net-A-Porter x We Norwegians

This Winter season we have continued to work with the team at Net-A-Porter to develop an exciting custom capsule collection available on NAP and in We Norwegians brand stores only. For those of you who are not familiar with Net-a-Porter, here’s a little information about the shop (and why we are so excited to work with them).

Net-a-Porter is the original web shop for luxury fashion brands. Founded in 2000,  Natalie Massenet , a former fashion journalist with Women's Wear Daily and Tatler, developed the concept of a magazine in website format where users could 'click' to buy while trying to source product online for a fashion shoot. Today, it seems perfectly normal to buy designer brands online, but 20 years ago this was really revolutionizing. In 2000, women only bought clothes they had seen, touched and tried on. Now millions buy their designer labels online at Net-a-porter and other web shops.
Natalie Massenet and her then-husband and co-founder Mark Quinn-Newall, launched the company from the Massanet's flat in Chelsea, London.

Today’s offices of Net-a-porter, this glittering example of modern retail, are located over the top floor of London's Westfield Centre. Under glass chandeliers they float whitely over Europe's largest mall, a monument to old-fashioned walk-in-and-browse shopping. The website offers collections from hundreds of designer brands, and We Norwegians are of course delighted to be there amongst the likes of Saint Laurent, Chloé and Bottega Veneta.

Net-a-Porter is now a part of YOOX Net-a-Porter Group SpA, an Italian online fashion retailer created in October 2015 after the merger between Yoox Group and Net-a-porter Group.
Still, one of the leading online platforms for fashion, they continue to be the epitome of elegant luxury. With the same, sturdy, black box, as they had in the beginning (when boxes were stored in Natalie’s bathtub), they ship worldwide, from four locations; London UK, Landriano Italy, New York US and Hong Kong China.
